HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE: Schedule Details/Additional Information: 7AM – 3:30PM, some flexibility.Monday – FridayNo weekends/holidays Major Responsibilities:
Support surgical Perianesthesia daily operations and provide leadership to unit team members: PACU, POCU.Oversight includes surgical lounge and team members. Collaborate with MOR and ASC and two-unit leaders. Purposeful rounding for visible leadership, troubleshooting, ensure team member engagement.Leader will support staffing, if needed.Manage daily and emergent staffing schedule. Resolve departmental issues.Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and skills day. WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, andBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.CNOR a plus! Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 3 years of experience in nursing.PACU expertise is required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Advanced clinical and technical knowledge of perianesthesia operations.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills necessary.Ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.Experience training and mentoring clinical teams.
