Assistant Fashion Designer

Leonardo 5th Avenue partners with its clients in the creation and delivery of forward fashion designs that acknowledges a smart and sharp self. Through an outstanding and personal service, customers become active participants in the designing of their very special attire either for a special celebration or for everyday clothing needs. Selected candidates will assist the designing team and store operations in the creation of designs and products for our much valued customers.
Responsibilities
for the job consist on the following, among other:
Advice clients on fabrics, style and clothing fit.
Design and style tailored clothing attires.
Assist in a variety of design projects for clothing and jewelry.
Perform succesful Clienteling.
Work with clients in design and sales needs.
Keep up to date in fashion trends and fashion industry optimal standards.
Be a real team player in the performance of all work duties.
Available to participate in industry events when required.
Skills
and
knowledge
required for the position:
Educated and experienced in fashion design
Posses creative skills in the fashion industry
Focused on outstanding customer service
Excellent communication skills
Problem solving driven
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
