**Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for answering calls from car dealerships and independent repair facilities to verify the completion and validity of claim forms.
* Reviews company records to determine various levels of claim coverage.
* Determines claims direction, calculates the amount of the claim, and submits for claim payment within the adjusters authorization limit.
* Documents all information in a database system. Uses reference labor manuals, technical bulletins and system components to adjudicate claims.
* Reviews pending claims list and follows up on pending claims daily.
* Adjudicate claims for automotive warranty contracts based on contract coverage.
* Explain contract coverage to repair facilities and contract holders.
* Must provide excellent customer service over the phone to both internal and external customers.
**Basic Qualifications Required - Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:**
* High school Diploma.
* 2-4 years experience in the automotive field.
**Other Requirements:**
* Excellent customer service and telephone skills required.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
* Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the automotive claims industry i.e. from powertrain operations to electrical charging systems.
**Preferred requirements:**
* Associates degree.
* Mechanical and/or automotive claims adjusting experience.
* ASE certification preferred, ASE Master certification.
* Bilingual Spanish.
Must be able to work an 8 hour schedule from Monday - Friday between the hours of 7am to 6pm CT and possibly Saturday.
