Role Description
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a key position in writing behavior reduction strategies and plans for our clients, currently children with Autism. They use methods such as reinforcement and conditioning to correct or reduce anti-social behaviors and to encourage positive behaviors. The hours for this full-time position are Mon-Fri, 8:30AM - 4:30PM.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles.Implement behavior modification techniques to improve communication, social skills, and daily living activities.Provide direct therapy to clients in home, school, or clinic settings.Collect data during sessions and adjust interventions as needed.Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure consistency and progress.Attend team meetings and training sessions. Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) TherapyBoard Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)Licensed by State Board of Psychiatric ExaminersExperience in Parent Education and Behavior ManagementBackground in PsychologyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team settingExperience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
