Build & Integration Engineer 3

OPS Consulting is seeking a Build and Integration Engineer 3 to work in Laurel, MD.

As a Build and Integration Engineer 3 at OPS Consulting you will be responsible for the operation, design, and integration of a broad range of systems and components. You will provide expertise on integrating sub-systems at scale, as well as interfaces with environmental systems, facilities, data systems, and security infrastructure.

Required Experience: 5+ years of experience with complex systems integration 5+ years of experience with CAD modeling and analysis (one or more of SolidWorks, CREO, etc.) 3+ years of experience with integrating systems that having challenging facility and supporting infrastructure requirements. Work area environment Safety and Security Facility physical access Familiarity with large scientific instruments (CERN, WEBB Telescope) Significant expertise in at least two of the following areas and familiarity with at least three additional areas: High vacuum systems Liquefaction Low temperature systems and thermal analysis Pneumatics distribution Hydraulics distribution Stress modeling and analysis Vibrational modeling and analysis Civil/architectural engineering Advanced fabrication and manufacturing process control Qualifications: A minimum of 14 years of experience A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, Physics or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
