Business Systems Analysts implement business system solutions according to the customer’s needs and requirements. Responsible for the setup, configuration, integration and data validation for the system. Conduct testing scenarios, end-user trainings, and provide customer support. Position Requirements
University degree in Business Administration – Accounting; Second Major in Information Systems is a plus.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
Demonstrate an expert understanding of a variety of software modules including (but not limited to) General Ledger, Sales Order Processing and Accounts Receivables Management, Purchasing and Payables Management, Human Resources, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation. Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Not-for-Profit and Governmental Accounting Standard Board (GASB) principles.
Excellent understanding or ERP fundamental software and tools.
Knowledge of common best practice financial, accounting and business practices.
Possess knowledge of governmental or local regulations that affect.
Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Spanish and English.
Proficient using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, and Access).
Must be oriented to detail, teamwork and customer service.
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
General Responsibilities
Work with clients to gather system requirements and produce detailed requirement and functional specification documents to solve moderately complex problems within information systems.
Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and revise existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
Perform medium to complex data analyses and reconciliations such as General Ledger vs. Subsidiaries (A/R or A/P) or Bank vs. General Ledger cash accounts.
Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are fully understood and provide assistance with overcoming obstacles faced during development.
Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs.
Document the experience in current projects to find new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve targeting, measurements and projects success in the future.
Document reports design and specifications for custom reports development or modification. Provide support to development team during development and testing.
Participation in the sales cycle will also be required. Consultants should be able to function equally as well independently or as part of a larger implementation team.
