Job Description
The Business and System Analyst is responsible to elicit requirements, write technical specifications, analyze business processes and develop recommendations for new or existing information system. Review, analyze, and evaluate business applications and user needs. Documents business requirements defines scope and objectives and develops functional requirements to enhance business processes, operations, test scripts and process flow. Defines application problem by conversing with end-user and evaluating procedures and processes in place.

Responsibilities
• Works with application owners in the development of business and system requirements.
• Analyzes, designs and develops new and existing applications functionalities based on users’ needs
• Perform queries to databases
• Develops technical diagrams of existing processes and communicates changes needed to development team
• Participates in the sessions of prototyping new systems for enhancing business processes, operations and information process flow
• Assists in enforcement of project deadlines, implementations and schedules
• Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Five (5) years of business analysis or systems analysis experience required
• Knowledge and/or experience of healthcare industry: transactions, processes, policies, etc. • Experienced facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution and to clarify detailed functional specifications
• Previous programming experience
• Skilled publishing, distributes, and ensures sign-off of the Business Requirements Documents
• Understand and follow SOA design patterns and is familiar with Agile practices
• Accurately and efficiently executes test plans with the business or process owners
• Proficiency offering training to end users and technical resources of the new technologies and solutions implemented
