Controls the Main Bank, or Cage Vault, during assigned Shift. Responsible for direct supervision and training of Cage Supervisors, Cage Cashiers and Slot Attendants. Responsible for making sure that materials and supplies of the Casino Cage and associated equipment including but not limited to the Glory Recycler and Ticket Redemption Kiosks are in good working order throughout assigned Shift. The position is responsible to adhere to the Government, Gaming Commission and Internal Company rules and regulations and assumes responsibility for supervising and supporting the compliance with such rules and regulations. The Casino Cage Supervisor should display a high degree of judgment and decision making in all customer and employee interactions while achieving the goals and priorities in a manner that reflects the Company vision, mission and values. This position is also responsible for staffing, scheduling, training requirements, motivating, evaluating, recognizing and disciplining (if necessary) of the employees under their supervision. The Casino Cage Supervisor is responsible for having full working knowledge of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, CBA. They must be proactive in improving operational efficiencies, guest and employee satisfaction. They need to maintain a high degree of professionalism when dealing with subordinates and customers. The Casino Cage Supervisor is responsible for making sure that all personnel under their supervision is following the system of Internal Controls and federal cash reporting requirements.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Bilingual: English and Spanish
Must be licensed by Puerto Rico Tourism Company
One to three years of progressive experience in Casino or related industry
Knowledge of Casino rules, regulations and procedures
Previous supervisory and leadership responsibility preferred
Computer knowledge and experience
