The CFAO will be a key member of the executive leadership, providing strategic insights and leading cross-functional initiatives that align with the organization's mission. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organization's financial health, fostering a high-performing team, and overseeing the development and implementation of people strategies that promote an inclusive and equitable work environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep personal connection to the mission of transforming lives through employment, with a focus on individuals facing barriers to employment.

Key responsibilities for the CFAO include executive leadership, accounting and financial management, talent management, and information technology oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as for building sustainable financial models. They will also lead efforts to improve talent acquisition, retention, and professional development practices, and ensure that the organization's IT strategy aligns with its goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, with an MBA preferred, and extensive experience in financial and operational management, particularly within a nonprofit environment. Strong expertise in nonprofit accounting, including experience with government funding, grants, and compliance, is also essential.
