The CRIO will be responsible for overseeing the Research & Evaluation team, designing and leading strategic research efforts, and using data to inform decisions and drive systemic change. This key leadership role involves strengthening the organization's evidence base through impact evaluations, nationwide surveys, and data science studies, as well as fostering a culture of performance and impact measurement both within the organization and externally in the field of parks and recreation.
The successful candidate will be The Company's leading expert in social science, statistics, and data-driven decision-making, and will be expected to establish and maintain key partnerships with universities, research firms, and government agencies. The role requires a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the CRIO will be at the forefront of efforts to ensure that the organization's strategic plan and goals are evaluated and aligned with performance across teams. The ideal candidate for the CRIO position at The Company will have a proven track record in research leadership, a deep understanding of social science, and experience in driving impact through data and evidence-based practices. A doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred, as well as a strong background in research design, statistical analysis, and program evaluation. The role demands a strategic thinker who can translate research into actionable insights, and a collaborative leader who can inspire a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
