Johnson & Johnson International, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for two (2) Clinical Demand Generation Representatives - Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP).
Johnson & Johnson International – Medical Caribbean is the sales organization for Johnson & Johnson professional products such as sutures and surgical equipment, products for the prevention of infections and injuries in the operating room and cardiovascular products. The Clinical Demand Generation Representative is a field-based position that provides education to our customers about sterilization and disinfection to improve hospital practices, ensuring a better attention for the patients through the accurate use of the right products with the safest processes. You will also assist the non-clinical demand generation organizations with products and clinical information to support account negotiations.
Johnson & Johnson announced that it has received a binding offer from Fortive Corporation to acquire Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP). If the offer is accepted, the proposed transaction would be expected to close no later than early 2020, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Should you receive and accept an offer for this position, upon completion of the transaction, your employment with ASP will transfer to Fortive according to local law and will be governed by Fortive’s employment processes, programs, policies and benefits plans.
As the Clinical Demand Generation Representative - ASP, you will:
• Provide clinical support and expertise to physicians, nurses and other medical professionals, associations or group of authorities about ASP products and scientific topics related to sterilization and disinfection.
• Provide product training to customers and demonstrate accurate usage of ASP portfolio.
• Develop equipment performance validation and re-qualification; provide customer training in Best Practices in the CSSD.
• Implement CARE program for each segment of customer based on the customer needs following the established calendar and profiling for customers.
• Assist the Non-Clinical Demand Generation organizations with product and clinical information to support account negotiations.
• Translate Clinical Benefits into economic benefit to support CSSD and accounts to maintain and increase installed base of ASP technology and products.
• Answers customer questions related to field actions and notifications and fill any product complaints related to products or equipment; answer customer inquiries about malfunctions of products to identify if it is a customer or equipment related issue.
• Identify business opportunities for ASP and provide information about competitors’ products, keep updated territory reports and special projects, monitor installed base efficiency and cancellations to develop tailored solutions by account, prepare comprehensive clinical analysis and suggest clinical strategy to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Work closely with the Equipment Division to plan new installations and action plans by accounts.
• Participate in product trainings and professional education events (congress).
• Demonstrate a basic understanding and optimally uses appropriate computer applications including Sales Force Automation, in compliant manner. Participate in assigned projects, complete assignments, and meet deadlines
• Prepare and execute business presentations of the sales territory, lead complex situations in a timely manner and provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Science, Nursing, Public Health or Biomedical.
• At least two (2) years of experience in clinical/hospital environment is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (oral and written) is required.
• Working experience in operating room or central services sterilization is preferred.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• This position will be field based and requires travel of up to ten percent (10%) outside of Puerto Rico.
