Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.) as directed by the RN or LVN in charge. Your role will be to maintain patient comfort and safety. You'll also need to follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.Responsibilities:Bathing and dressing patientsTaking vital signsCollecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and doctorsAnswering patient callsExamining patients for bruises and other injuries/woundsTurning or repositioning patients who are bedriddenLifting patients into beds, wheelchairs, or exam tablesCleaning and sanitizing patient areasChanging sheets and restocking rooms with necessary suppliesEnsuring patients or residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferencesStay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedureRequirements:Current CNA certificate in good standingCurrent BLS/CPR cardSuccessful completion of background check and drug testHigh level of patience, empathy, and compassionAbility to work long hours on one's feet often doing very physical workJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits: Full time staff401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMedical specialties:GeriatricsPhysical setting:Long term careRehabilitation centerStandard shift:Day shiftEvening shiftOvernight shiftWeekly schedule:Monday to Sunday4/2 rotationLicense/Certification:CNA Certification (Required)
