Position Summary: The Commercial Insurance Agency Producer plays a critical role in the organization by connecting with clients, providing empathetic and effective communication, and ensuring the best insurance solutions to meet their needs. This role is essential for driving the company's success through sales and customer retention and reflects the organization's core values.
Annual Salary: $60,000 plus unlimited bonus opportunity.
Essential Functions: Prospecting (60%) Utilize in-house leads, cold calling, and networking to generate new businessEngage with prospects through LinkedIn and become a trusted advisor by providing tailored insurance solutionsComplete applications, supplemental questionnaires, risk surveys, and other related documentation accuratelyAddress phone, email, or site visit questions and concerns promptlyTrack, monitor, and report on weekly/monthly prospecting activity and sales results to the supervisorRequest referrals from new customers and associates, responding to them in a timely manner Proposal Process and Presentation (25%) Follow agency standard procedures for all proposalsProvide complete and comprehensive submissions to underwriters and respond promptly to requests for additional informationAccurately document coverage discussions and submit new business paperwork to Operations as instructedDemonstrate the ability to close sales Customer Retention (10%) Build rapport and positive relationships with clients throughout the policy termHandle escalated client issues and conduct regular check-ins, asking for referrals General Duties (5%) Maintain knowledge of procedures, coverage, and the industry to manage, maintain, and develop client relationships effectivelyAttend daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetingsSubmit coversheet with checklist and signed documentation promptly to the Operations AssistantMaintain accurate and up-to-date opportunities in CRM with all communicationsComplete other duties as assigned Job Specifications/Qualifications: Education and Training: Bachelor's Degree (preferred)Texas Property and Casualty License (required) Experience: 2 + years of Commercial Lines Insurance Sales experienceWhat We Offer: Competitive salaryMedical, Dental, Vision, and 401kProfessional growth and development opportunitiesA supportive and collaborative work environmentAccess to company assets, including credit cards, cell phones, building keys, and laptop computers
