**Job Title: General Equipment Mover**
**Job Description**
The General Equipment Mover will be responsible for uncrating and placing the machinery used to manufacture batteries at a Panasonic facility. The role involves unloading, loading, and unstuffing cargoes from trailers or shipping containers. You will also be required to uncrate, crate, unpack, pack, and move cargoes using manual or powered hand tools and material handling equipment. Additionally, you will relocate and roughly set cargoes to designated locations on the production floor using manual or powered hand tools, manual toe jacks, and material handling equipment like manual skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
**Hard Skills**
+ Previous experience in a labor-intensive role
+ Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor tasks
+ Experience in operating forklifts, gradalls, or other lifts is a plus but not required
**Soft Skills**
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to follow instructions accurately
**Job Type**
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
**Work Site**
This is a fully on-site position in De Soto, Kansas.
**Work Environment**
Panasonic manufacturing facility - indoor/outdoor material moving in a 2M SQFT setting. HOT - non-climate controlled.
