Description
New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranches is a non-denominational Christian organization providing residential care, foster placement, and OP counseling to families of children placed at The Ranches as well as to families working to avoid out-of-home placement for their teens.
This position is based out of our (south of) Belen, NM location. This licensed counselor/therapist will work with adolescents and their families providing individual, family, and group counseling and case management for the foster program. Depending on the need,
Some evening hours and on-call hours are possible.
Must live locally or within states.

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling
• No insurance billing required (all services Donor Paid)
• Provide community education programs as needed
• Provide case management to foster families and children in their care
• Maintain program files
• Learn to perform S.A.F.E home studies and updates
• Assist with recruiting, training, and qualifying potential foster parents
Qualifications
• Strong oral, written, interviewing, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to provide various modalities of therapy with creativity
• The ability to work in a multicultural collaborative team environment
• Master's level counseling/social work degree
• Ability to pass background checks and have a valid driver's license
• New Mexico - LMHC, LPCC, MSW, LISW, LCSW, or LMFT Licensure
Preferred:
• Not required but bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but only English is required
• S.A.F.E-trained certified a plus but can be completed once on-board
Compensation:
• $42,000 - $48,000 DOE for entry-level clinicians
• $48,000 - $56,000 DOE for independently licensed clinicians
