Flawless is looking for a Data Labeling and Annotation Specialist on a part time contract basis. You can play a key part in shaping the future of a company's suite of generative AI tools for VFX, through the curation, development and deployment of multi-modal datasets for our ML models.

What you will be doing:
As a Data Labeling and Annotation Specialist you will assist the data team supporting our dataset labeling pipeline to ensure successful deployment of large multi-modal datasets within the film media domain. In this role, you will partner closely with other Deep Learning Data Engineers, to assist in the investigation of the labeling platform and how it can be leveraged for our labeling needs. This will include creating detailed technical documentation and slides for labeling instructions by working with various project stakeholders, including possible creation of videos explaining the job. In addition, this hire will conduct internal POC of the large scale dataset labeling project to extract various metrics such as: time to label, cost to label, compute projected costs / ETA of the labeling project. Based on POC metrics, this contractor may help improve and advise better labeling strategies to answer questions like: How to decrease the cost of labeling? How to increase the speed of labeling, and how to leverage the automated tools of the platform better?

$30 - $35 an hour

- 30-45 minute call with our recruiting team (We want to discuss your interests and motivations as well as the practical details and make sure that Flawless would be a good fit for you)
- 30-45 minute technical screen to discuss Flawless and your past work.
Your Recruiter and hiring manager will be your main point of contact and prepare you for interviews. You'll meet 1-2 people from across the ML team. (We make sure that you have time in each interview to ask them questions). If we don't give an offer, we'll provide feedback!
