Pay $18.00hr plus great benefits!Basic Qualifications:Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings etc.Ability in using tools (Dial indicators, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools, bore gauges) and test equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentGood understanding of quality control proceduresGood communication skills (verbal and written)Responsibilities: Read and follow instructions and established procedures.Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.Use precision tools to measure and assist in the machining and assembly of engine heads using power, manual tools, and precision machining equipment.Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.Ensure that all engine heads are machined and assembled to the correct value.Read and set up gauges.Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.Keep records of production measurements, quantities, and time.Report issues, malfunction, or defective components.Maintain a "Tour Ready" work environment.Other duties as assignedExcellent hand-eye coordination and able to meet the physical requirementsAble to stand on cement floors for 9 plus hoursAbility to lift block components weighing 50-55 lbs. repeatability.This position is in a manufacturing environment, primary focus on machining and assembly of engine heads.
