Job Title: Echo Technician

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Echo Technician to join our healthcare team. This role will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations of the heart and related vessels, including 2D and M-Mode echo cadiology and color-flow Doppler studies (pulsed and continous), stress echo, and echo, and will enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.
What You'll Do: Prepares studies for interpretation by physician, including accurate calculation of cardiac structures. Demonstrates ability to detect possible abnormalities on an echo that are not considered to be normal and is able to directly notify the physician of any suspected abnormalities. Completes all paperwork accurately. Completes daily log of studies accurately. Initiates Code Blue and emergency measures when indicated according to BCLS and hospital policy. Maintains medication security to authorized personnel only. Evaluates and initiates inventory and ordering of supplies. Maintains safe working and patient environment. Utilizes appropriate and effective communication and problem solving skills in all interpersonal interactions. Exercises sound judgment in relating the physician's order to actual conditions of the patient and consults with the Medical Director and/or attending physician in questionable situations. Able to effectively communicate with the clinical team (nurses, physicians, and other related ancillaries), in order to advocate for patient safety and continuity of care. Performs stress echocardiograms, bubble studies when necessary Assist in ICAEL accreditation Qualifications: Echocardiography graduate with RDMS (RDMS preferred BCLS or ACLS Certification from American Heart Association You're great for this role if: 1+ years of echocardiography Who We Are:
