The candidate must be comfortable working with commercial off-the-shelf and custom test equipment to test hardware. Tasks will include specification development, trade studies, hardware integration, and test and validation. This opportunity is for a versatile Antenna test engineer possessing a blend of theoretical analysis, practical application, and hands-on integration abilities. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and rf related issue sometimes down to the Antenna component levels. Ability to independently solve problems as well as work with the subsystem team. Travel is required.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 + years minimum experience in RF/Microwave and Antenna (AESA) Test and Integration, or a M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in RF/Microwave and AntennaTest Development Experience in a Nearfield RangeTroubleshooting RF/Microwave Antenna (AESA) hardware, software and process issues down to the component levelsExperience with system issues associated with RF design such as noise figure, IP3, S-Parameters, Antenna Gain, Antenna Directivity, ERP, Side Lobe Levels (SLL), Oscillation, etc.Experience with common RF test equipment such as Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal & Pulse Generators, and OscilloscopesExperienced at Antenna (AESA) hardware integration and validation efforts necessary for sell-off of advanced Airborne RADAR systemsActive and transferrable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
