Come join a growing team as an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician!Position Summary: Under limited supervision, works from production drawings, wiring diagrams, Bills of Materials, wire lists, sketches and verbal instructions to perform standard and repetitive assembly operations.General Purpose: Assemble complex sub-assemblies and complex upper level systems.Position Responsibilities:- Utilizes hand and power tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, crimpers, wire cutters, taps, rulers, etc. in assembling varied and complicated sub-assemblies and mounts parts and sub-assemblies to chassis, framework, panels as required.- Routes and connects electrical harnesses, discrete wiring, and some electrical power supplies and electrical systems.- Assembles manifolds, valves, gauges, switches, fittings, and hardware as designated.- Responsible for first-line visual quality inspection of work performed.- Responsible for organization of tools and workstation cleanliness.- Performs other duties as assigned.Hard SkillsElectrical device testing experienceInfrared Thermography testingMS Office & computer proficiencyFirm understanding of basic electrical theory/principlesSoft SkillsMust work as a member of the assembly team to assist in meeting schedules and completing assignments in a timely manner at the direction of the Assembly LeadMust be flexible working in a Job Shop oriented environment on multiple product typesMust be willing to build on knowledge already gained from 1-2 years experience working on Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical and Pneumatic AssembliesJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Manor, Texas.Work EnvironmentClimate controlled manufacturing environment1st shift 6am-2:30pm (plus possible overtime, which is voluntary)2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm (plus possible overtime, which is voluntary)About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
