We are looking for a motived Environmental Planner to join our team! In this position, you'll assist our clients in identifying environmental compliance requirements and pathways to maintain compliance and protect the environment. You'll assist in the development of planning documents, including CEQA/NEPA, compliance reviews, mitigation monitoring reports, and more. Travel and overnight travel will be required, typically with advanced notice.
Qualifications:
BS or BA degree, preferably in an environmental discipline, sciences, or engineering 3+ years of experience in environmental planning Direct experience and knowledge of environmental regulations, which may include assisting in research for CEQA and NEPA planning documents, preparing or assisting in the preparation of technical sections, and knowledge of key environmental permits, including CWA 404/401, NHPA 106, and ESA Section 7. Knowledge of GIS Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Highly detail oriented and accountable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively Strong organization skills with ability to manage concurrent responsibilities Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Who We Are:
