**Works as a member of the Catering by Michaels event staff team at Events at Independence Grove in Libertyville,IL.**
Waiters are expected to quickly and efficiently serve guests, with knowledge of the food and beverage items being served. As a full service catering operation, set up and tear down are also our responsibility, therefore, the ability to work in a team environment and to work calmly and effectively under pressure is essential.
English language and professional communication skills are a must. The ability to lift a tray weighing up to 30lbs is necessary. Prior server experience is helpful, but not necessary. Must be 16 or older and have reliable transportation. Need to be able to work fast in a hectic environment without losing sight of the quality. Grooming and courtesy on the job is essential.
A tuxedo is necessary for this position and we will reimburse you up to $150 for buying one.
