This pivotal role involves partnering with therapeutic area leads to develop and guide the implementation of translational, reverse translational, and precision medicine strategies. The successful candidate will be the single point of accountability for the development of these strategies, aiming to deepen mechanistic insights, define indications and combinations based on the understanding of disease and patient endotypes, and enhance the overall value of the portfolio. Key responsibilities include mentoring and guiding the precision medicine leads, identifying data sources and partnerships for biomarker strategies, and staying at the forefront of technical and scientific advances in the field.
Candidates for this role at the company should have a Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree with a significant amount of experience in precision medicine, particularly as it applies to the target therapeutic area of obesity. Basic qualifications include a degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 6 years' precision medicine experience, along with 6 years of managerial experience.
