Facilities Technician-Guayama

Descripción del Empleo:
Assists in tasks such as repair and general maintenance of buildings and grounds, including painting, gypsum board and ceiling tiles. Performs installations and repairs of facilities equipment. Conducts maintenance activities of some or all environmental and safety systems. Repair all types of equipment, piping, devices, etc. using accepted welding techniques. Perform Preventive Maintenance jobs according to established standards such as: sprinklers systems, exhaust fans, blowers, fire hydrants and risers, fire hoses and extinguishers, flammable cabinets, and hoists and cranes, among others. Conduct waste sumps and piping repairs and/or installations whenever necessary.

Requisitos:
Technical School Degree. 2-3 years experience performing similar jobs in manufacturing environment.
Available to work on different shifts for long periods of time and/or rotating shifts.
Available to work frequently during weekends. Available to work extra hours, holidays (shutdowns, special projects, etc).
Basic oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
