Jobtracks Caribbean is looking for a highly qualified candidate with experience in banking or cooperatives, and a strong educational background in Business Administration or Accounting, to join our team as a Financial Aid Representative. The successful candidate will assist students with financial aid processes and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities of Financial Aid Representative:
A Financial Aid Representative must assist students in understanding and completing financial aid applications and documentation.
A Financial Aid Representative must provide excellent customer service to students and families, addressing their questions and concerns regarding financial aid.
A Financial Aid Representative must offer advice and guidance on financial aid options, budgeting, and managing educational expenses.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial aid forms and maintain up-to-date records.
A Financial Aid Representative must stay informed about and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations and policies.
A Financial Aid Representative must prepare and analyze reports on financial aid distributions and student accounts.
Work closely with other departments, such as admissions and finance, to coordinate efforts and ensure a seamless experience for students.
A Financial Aid Representative must conduct financial aid workshops and presentations to educate students and families about available resources and application processes.
Requirements for Financial Aid Representative:
A Financial Aid Representative must have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in banking, cooperatives, or a related financial environment.
A Financial Aid Representative must have a strong understanding of financial aid processes and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A Financial Aid Representative must be available to work between 9 am-9 pm.
A Financial Aid Representative must be available to work from the office in the metro area 1 or 2 times per week, and the rest of the time, remotely.
A Financial Aid Representative must be available to work 2 Saturdays a month from 9 am-6 pm.
Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $10.82 per hour
