As a Financial Analyst within the Manufacturing Operations in Guayama you will be responsible for supporting the security function and cost center owners in tracking financials and managing operational and capital budgets.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Budget and Forecast:
Prepares forecast schedules with their corresponding commentaries, trend projection and analysis. Reports forecast on a timely basis to local management allowing required review and reporting to Region/Areas. Prepares and analyze plant performance forecast in a monthly basis Develops, prepares and analyzes financial impact of the operating plan development and reviews. Interacts with the Operation Group and support them in defining issues, opportunities and strategies. Communicates to management significant deviations and provide financial assistance on sensitive factors affecting the operations. Prepares schedules and analysis of the monthly results against the forecast. Distributes to management and the operation group comparison reports and commentaries. Alerts management of any issues and opportunities and any potential future impact. Develops, prepares and analyzes the financial impact of the year-end operating plan reviews. Assists and participates in the preparation and analysis of the entire budget cycle. Support in the trouble shooting of issues that might arise during the budget runs. Coordinates with parties involved that all information needed for the budget process is timely submitted.

Cost Accounting:
Maintains continuous communication with Production / Support departments to ensure timeliness of completion of month-end closing. Reviews product manufacturing variances for correctness and accuracy. Responsible to prepare Monthly Operations Summary report (MOS). Performs month-end activities in MRP system. Identify system improvements opportunities and work closely with IT departments in the implementation. Generate volume and product variance report for Month and YTD. Prepare journal entries as required.

General Accounting:
Review and perform all journal entries required by the general accounting area. Verification of the monthly charges issued by Pfizer colleagues using the Corporate P-Card and AMEX Prepare consolidated spending reports for management. Support enabling function under responsibility. Assures area understand their forecast and assist in the preparation. Perform month journal entries as required in compliance with SOX requirements. Assist leader in any task required during month end.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting or Finance).

Experience:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance in a manufacturing context of the complexity of this operation.
PC literate and Systems knowledge
Manufacturing accounting knowledge
Bilingual - English/Spanish (oral/reading/writing skills)
Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Ability to solve problems
High level of analysis capabilities
Experience with tactical knowledge in processes, business methods and procedures
Experience in manage cost centers
Ability to interact well with others
