Mesa Historical Museum Description Housed in a century-old school building, Mesa Historical Museum showcases exhibits that depict significant stories about the early years of Mesa, AZ. The museum provides a meaningful learning environment for visitors and highlights unique aspects of the Mesa region, including the history of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and Spring Training and baseball history in Arizona.
Role Description This is an on-site volunteer role as a Front Desk Volunteer at Mesa Historical Museum in Mesa, AZ. The Front Desk Volunteer will be responsible for phone etiquette, receptionist duties, customer service, communication, and basic cash handling and using our Square POS system. No previous experience necessary.
Responsibilities: •Greet and welcome guests with a warm and inviting demeanor.
•Manage admissions and handle cash transactions.
•Ring up sales and assist customers in the gift shop.
•Restock gift shop items as needed.
•Answer phone calls and provide basic information to callers.
Availability: •Tuesdays through Saturdays 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (full-day and half-day shifts available)
• Volunteers can commit to as many days/hours as their schedule allows.
