Geospatial Image Apprentice
Job Summary:
Responsible for the identification and classification of objects in a satellite image. All the images form a "set" of data leading to the creation of predictive models for the identification of objects.

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for the identification and classification of objects in a satellite image. All the images form a "set" of data leading to the creation of predictive models for the identification of objects.
Other related duties may be required as assigned by the Project Manager and GIS Manager.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge to operate a computer. Preferably experience in Photoshop, GIMP, or QGIS.
Ability to work as a team in a professional and collaborative environment
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
Understand the English language (The training material, instructions and the system to be used will be in English)
Knowledge in programming languages such as Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.

Adaptability is a must, including the ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies quickly.

Availability to work at the customer site and/or Wovenware offices
Physical & Safety Requirements
Primarily sedentary with some walking, standing, and carrying of light objects. An adequately lighted and ventilated area where normal precautions for use of office equipment must be observed. This is a part-time job that may require additional and flexible hours as necessary to complete project deadlines on time.
