Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for the further development of the Finance Competence Center North America, involving process optimization and the extension of the field of competences as well as the expansion of the region's coverageYou manage an intercultural team, with coaching and development at the hearth of your projectThanks to your diligent approach, you ensure the timely closure, completeness and accuracy of the North American units' accountsAs a sparring partner, you will be responsible for all finance-related topics such as accounting, controlling, accounts receivable and accounts payable management as well as monthly and annual financial statements, internal and external auditsThe focus is also in building a strong relationship with the management and the business partners of your departmentYou work in close collaboration with our global Finance team on the implementation of a uniform finance structure within the group, and you support global finance projects Skills, knowledge and expertise: You know how to motivate a team and have already successfully proven this in managing a finance teamYou have had the opportunity to actively contribute to finance projectsStrong background in local GAAP and accounting issues- Controlling experience is a clear advantageYou are an advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExcellent communication skills, with the ability to converse at all stakeholder levels.You are willing to occasionally go on business tripsA pinch of humor and a hands-on mentality What makes us the ideal choice?Afamily-owned enterprise established in 1924, has evolved into a leading globalspecialist in project freight forwarding.
