Insurance Network Specialist Bilingual English/Spanish

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe representative develops, builds and maintains networks of providers in existing primary network service areas. The representative works with physicians and various ancillary providers and facilities in the development of networks on either a Global ( company wide), Client specific or possibly even member specific basis.Calling the provider, practice, hospital or health systemSpeak with the office administrator, managed care contracting department, the billing department, or the provider themselves to discuss contract terms.The representative then discusses the details of the contractual language and financial compensation arrangements with the providers and begins possible negotiations if necessaryThe Contracting representative is additionally responsible for the continued growth of networks after initial contracts have been securedProviding analytics as to network depth and breadth, discount averages, and savings generated.Assisting with client/prospect disruption reportsDeveloping strategies and statistics for new network development areas.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor degree in Healthcare related field, or Business ManagementPrior provider contracting experienceResearch into area pricing and competitive dataADDITIONAL NOTESPay is flexibleTravel would be very minimal, if any We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to excellence, diversity and inclusion., ,
