The IT Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business users and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities. Analyzes business unit's operations to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Works independently and recommends solutions that help solve business problems with IT solutions. Participates in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level business requirements into techno-functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.
Support the technical and business dynamics of the software solution in place. Possesses expertise in the DSD/Distribution business, process improvement methodologies, and overall ITIL capabilities. SAP ERP / S4 experience and Supply chain experience is a plus. Understand and actively engage in topics such as procurement, goods receipt processes, returns and damages tracking, and inventory management and tracking across multiple hierarchies and locations.

EXPERIENCEYour areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field. 5 + years of relevant experience. Understanding and knowledge of architecture, application systems design and integration. Ability to interact and communicate with senior leadership. Successful execution of project methodology for IT projects. Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business. Understand and consistently apply the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies. Viewed both internally and externally as a subject matter expert across multiple disciplines. Manage critical communication pathways between IT, RBDC, and solution vendors.
