Our client needs to hire an IT Manager that will operate as a one person department for the company. They will handle everything from system administration, security, inventory, day-to-day operations, and IT Support.

Responsibilities: Lead and execute various projects to ensure optimal system performance Set up and configure new workstations, equipment, and peripherals. Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for system users. Regularly update equipment (switches, firewalls, access points, NAS). Deploy Windows & BIOS updates to all endpoints. Manage Active Directory. Facilitate onboard meetings with new employees to ensure they are equipped with the necessary IT toolsets. Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and test server backups to ensure data integrity. Oversee and administer the VoIP phone system. Basic to advanced Microsoft and Linux endpoint OS administration Maintain and regularly test the disaster recovery plan to ensure business continuity. Collaborate on the development and management of the enterprise security plan alongside the IT Director and external security consultants. Research and procure new equipment to meet the company's technological needs. Manage IT inventory, including tracking check-in/check-out of equipment. Maintain licensing compliance and ensure adequate inventory for new hires and hardware depreciation cycles. Conduct regular IT asset audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency Coordinate IT equipment setup and internet installation for new community sites and sales centers to ensure everything is up and running on time. Create and document internal IT procedures for use by the broader team. Perform regular license audits for systems like D365, Windows Server CALs, and Microsoft Office to ensure compliance. Stay up to date on release notes for relevant software, implementing new features, and providing necessary user training. Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT infrastructure support, handling requests from over 60 staff members spread across multiple locations. Skills & Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in IT, networking, or related fields. 4+ years of experience managing networks, systems, and security-bonus points for experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure or AWS. Problem-Solving Wizard: You tackle challenges head-on with ingenuity and an eye for solutions. Communicator Extraordinaire: Whether it is documenting procedures or leading a training, you are comfortable sharing technical information with the team. Team Player: You work well with others, share knowledge, and approach every task with humility and respect. Flexibility: Must be available for occasional evenings and weekends. Physical: Ability to lift 40lbs and work at a computer for 40 hours a week.
