PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
· 3 + years of experience as an IT QA Analyst.
· Proven working experience in theInformation Technology sector.
· Experience developing and creating test cases, test plans and test scripts required.
· Experience with functional, regression, ad-hoc and extensive software testing.
· Experience with Ecommerce is required.
· Experience testing Responsive websites is required.
· Experience with various testing tools including automation tools is a plus.
ESSENTIALS ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design and document test plans for software changes and releases.
2. Define and execute test cases for web applications based on software requirements and technical specifications.
3. Record and document results and compare to expected results.
4. Analyze testing from the client's perspective.
5. Improve the maturity of the regression scripting and execution process.
6. Works with an open and collaborative style.
7. Participate in application planning meetings.
8. Test system modifications to prepare for promotion to staging environment.
9. Investigate modification problems and notifies issues to development.
10. Conduct historical analyses of test results.
11. Identify program deviance from standards and suggest modifications to ensure compliance.
12. Help design or develop automated testing tools.
13. Evaluate or recommend software for testing or bug tracking.
14. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
15. Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
16. Help develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
17. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
18. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
19. Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
20. Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
TRAINING & EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or validation or QA or IT environment.
