As a member of our service department, the Journeyman Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on KIA and Hyundai vehicles. Huge amount of work! Book hours as fast as you can! We are seeking skilled Journeyman to join our team KIA/Hyundai experience for top scale. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various KIA/Hyundai repair tasks and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
Compensation & Benefits: Pay Range up to $38 to $60 per hour based on experience and skill level Up to $60.00 hr bonus plan! We have the work, have the parts and the $$$ to pay! Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on KIA and Hyundai vehicles, following manufacturer guidelines and regulations Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues and provide accurate and efficient solutions Conduct routine inspections and maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues with vehicle performance, electronic systems, and other components Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently, documenting labor hours and parts used Communicate effectively with service advisors, keeping them informed of progress and any additional repairs needed Continuously update knowledge of automotive technology and industry advancements through training and self-study Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Assist with other duties and tasks as needed to support the service department Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education and/or automotive certifications preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with KIA and Hyundai vehicles Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of automotive systems and components Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
