Looking for a well rounded Systems Engineer with Video experience to Lead a emergency response centralized command center with outposts in Gary and Crown Point, IN.

Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Deliver specialized technical support and consulting for the CommandCentral AWARE system and its interfaces, ensuring optimal functionality and integration.Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to improve workflows, procedures, and overall system performance.Travel & Remote Assistance: Support SOP creation, process discovery, and inter-jurisdictional data sharing, both virtually and on-site.Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with customers' vendors to connect and integrate data points within the CommandCentral AWARE setup.Diagnostics & Analysis: Perform system diagnostics, conduct performance checks, and carry out root-cause analyses to recommend and implement system improvements.Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to optimize operations, troubleshoot critical issues, and enhance system capabilities.Data Integration: Manage and integrate various data inputs into the system to ensure comprehensive and effective use. Experience we are seeking: Video Management Systems (VMS): Experience with VMS products such as Genetec, Milestone, Axis, or Avigilon or others - Video experience is a MUSTGeographic Information Systems (GIS): Proficiency in ArcGIS and QGIS is preferred and would be a big PLUSDatabase Management: Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.Operating Systems & Virtualization: Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux Server (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu), VMware, and Hyper-V.Network Management: Experience with tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and PRTG.Scripting Languages: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.Cybersecurity: Understanding of SIEMs, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security monitoring software.Public Safety Applications: Experience with CAD Systems (Tyler Technologies, Spillman), RMS Systems (SunGard, Spillman), MDT Software (Client, Carbyne), and 9-1-1 Call Handling is a PLUSGeneral IT Skills: Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs), remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk), and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
