We are seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness.
Duties
- Assist in legal case management and document preparation
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
- Provide executive administrative support to attorneys
- Manage and organize legal documents and correspondence
- Schedule appointments, interviews, and meetings
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy
- Utilize software such as Westlaw for legal research
- Support attorneys with contract drafting and review
- Maintain a well-organized law office environment
Skills
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks
- Strong organizational abilities
- Familiarity with securities law is a plus
- Experience in executive administrative support
- Knowledge of Westlaw for legal research
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to manage legal cases effectively
