Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced LPN, (LTC) to fill an opening located in Alturas, CA for $1866/Week (taxed + non-taxed)
Gross week: $1866/week
Blended Hourly: | $48.00/hr
Requirements of the (LPN):
? Must have AHA BLS certification
? Must have valid CA, LPN License
? Must have at least 1 years of experience in LPN, SNF
Responsibilities of the (LPN):

*Responsibilities*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
* Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
* Perform basic medical procedures such as suturing and gastric lavage when necessary.
* Maintain accurate patient records using ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
* Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
* Participate in travel nursing assignments as needed.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and practices.
* Proficient in suture techniques and basic surgical assistance.
* Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate medical recordkeeping.
* Understanding of physiology and its application in patient care.
* Knowledge of infection control measures to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
* Experience in internal medicine practices is preferred.
* Ability to work effectively in memory care environments, demonstrating patience and empathy.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
* Willingness to engage in travel nursing opportunities when required.
