Line Cook

Little Grenjai is a family owned Thai-American restaurant in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvestant known for our unique and bold flavors inspired by Bangkok street food. We are now in search of an experienced line cook to join our small kitchen team.
Base pay is negotiable based on experience. All members of the kitchen team are included in tips, which average out to $350 per week for full time line cooks. We provide access to delicious staff meals, and a comfortable, friendly work environment.


Our ideal candidate will:
Have 3+ years of related professional kitchen experience. Be available during our dinner restaurant hours, Wednesday - Sunday 3pm to 11pm. Bring a professional line cook mentality to work. Be organized, be thorough and work efficiently. Knowledge of, or serious interest in learning Thai cuisine Demonstrate best practices in hospitality, cleanliness and product presentation. Be mindful that we are working in a customer facing open kitchen. Be responsible and proactive with time management and side work during quieter hours. Show independence, self sufficiency and a willingness to collaborate with our team Help us build a solid customer base by being consistently friendly and personable.
