Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesMettler Toledo's Masstron production facility in Columbus, Ohio is currently hiring a 2nd shift Machine Maintenance Technician to take responsibility for the maintenance of all equipment as well as the facility and grounds. The role requires active participation and continuity in our team environment to identify opportunities for improvement, utilizing critical thinking, problem solving and Lean Manufacturing fundamentals.Your responsibilities would include:Reading and using technical manuals to understand equipment and controlsDisassembling machinery, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning componentsPerforming tests and running batches to verify the machine is operating properlyPerform regular preventive maintenance tasks for manufacturing and facility equipmentAdjusting and calibrating, cleaning and lubricating equipment to its specificationsPerforming the job with a sense of urgency being both adaptable and resourceful Working on the computer using MS OfficeLifting and moving 75+ pounds; standing, squatting, climbing ladders, twisting, bending, crawling and reachingSecond Shift Hours: 3pm -11:30pm, Monday - Friday.
