Maintenance Tech

DescriptionThe grounds maintenance position includes performing general maintenance duties as assigned, overseeing work being completed by outside vendors/contractors, and general maintenance of all UBAEL buildings, spaces, and lots.Responsibilities•Inspecting and maintaining facilities, equipment, tools, and vehicles.•Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, tree trimming, fertilizing, weed control, pest control, and irrigation.•Maintaining fish & fishpond.•Remove/replace/repair fencing as needed.•Purchase needed supplies such as paint, filters, and materials.•Responsibly operate all equipment (no large machinery).•Contact vendors as needed for outside repairs.•Maintain water softeners.•Event setup/teardown.•Ordering/changing of air filters and lightbulbs.•Cleaning and Painting.•Occasional Wood/metal work.•Seasonal Decorations.•Minor Electrical/plumbing maintenance and repair.•Take out trash cans & recycling.•Any other duties as assigned.•Tracking and recording all purchases and supplier contact information.Qualifications•Must be hardworking & detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic & take initiative.•Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and landscaping.•Must be able to lift 50 pounds.•Knowledgeable in all aspects of property maintenance.•Previous experience in maintenance and landscaping.•High school diploma or equivalent.•Clean driving record.
