What You Will Do Performs mammography testing and procedures on patients. Performs quality mammograms following prescribed techniques, with minimal radiation exposure to patient and self. Knowledge of MQSA and required QC procedures. Knowledge in required patient outcomes tracking. Assists radiologists as needed. Adheres to hospital mammography safety standards. Takes responsibility for self dev elopement and supports learning environment. Provides age-specific care to neo-nates through geometric. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications: Education Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of X-Ray unit, computers, wheel chairs, O2 tanks, immobilization devices, PACS and radiology information system. Ability to operate mammography equipment. (Required proficiency) Ability to operate mammography equipment. (Required proficiency) Knowledge of QC and MQSA standards.
