Role: Functions include database architecture, engineering, design, optimization, security, and administration; as well as data modeling, big data development, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development, storage engineering, data warehousing, data provisioning and other similar roles. Responsibilities may include Platform-as-a-Service and Cloud solution with a focus on data stores and associated eco systems. Duties may include management of design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, ensuring strict data quality, and performing needs assessments. Primary job responsibilities include: Responsible for the management and manipulation of mostly structured data, Focus on building business intelligence tools, Conducting analysis, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality. Creating specifications to bring data into a common structure Creating product specifications and reporting models Developing data solutions to support analyses Performing analysis and interpreting results Developing actionable insights and presenting recommendations for use across the internal/external stakeholder and leadership. Experience in database design, programming, testing and implementation using SQL with standard practices and proceduresDevelop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and have experience in creating complex data mining algorithms.Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as neededIdentify production and non-production application issuesAbility to quickly analyze existing code, identify performance/reliability/scalability issues, propose solutions, and code optimization/updates as required.Provide technical support and consultation database and infrastructure questionsExperience and understanding on Database Performance Tuning, Database Management, Requirements Analysis, Software Development Fundamentals, Problem Solving, Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Data Maintenance, Database Security, Promoting Process ImprovementServe as a mentor to less experienced developersAnalytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures. Total 10 - 14 years of experience in Data Analytics:Must have at least 8-10 years' experience handling and leading MSBI projects10 years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience10 years of on-the job experience working with relational database management system (like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).Experience in writing TSQL statements, stored procedures and views using industry best practices for security and efficiency.Create, test and execute SQL language code.Experience in database design, programming, and implementation using SQLMust have working experience with MSBI Tools: MSBI (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), TableauWell-developed written and verbal communications and presentation skills.Should be able to work independently with minimum support/mentoring.Willing to learn new technology.Should be open for Development and SupportAble to write user and technical documentation.Hands on experience with dealing global customers to gather requirements and translate them into solutions using the necessary skills.Work with developers to translate requirements in to functional and technical design documents and follow established Waterfall/Agile SDLC processes for testing and implementation.Conduct analysis to ensure quality of data at various stages of its evolution.Translates data into meaningful information.
