Manufacturing It Application Engineer

Job Description The Manufacturing IT Application Engineer is required to work in all phases of a customer project (design, systems engineering, specification writing, project management, development, installation, start-up and validation). The candidate is familiar with the manufacturing environment and controls the documentation process as well as the development cycle of industrial applications. This role operates within a multidisciplinary team that integrates technology and business expertise to deliver professional solutions. Responsibilities Performs the design, development and implementation of software applications for : Production data acquisition and management Visualize and distribute information Integrate control process systems Integrate with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Analyze the performance and produce standardized reports Work in collaboration with the client and the project team to define specifications; Participates in the installation and start-up systems or applications, remotely or at the customer site; Perform the qualification process in respect with the industry rules and regulations; Participate actively in the project management, cost monitoring, milestones planning and task scheduling. Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Industrial Engineering, other training and relevant professional experience will be considered; Knowedgeable in SQL, Databases, Reports, OPC, VBA, MS Access, VBScript Good communicator and fluent in English, spoken and written; Knowledge of requirements related to regulated industries (FDA, GMP, 21 CFR part 11); Experience with OSISoft PI data historian; Experience with integration to automation platforms Experience in customer service and technical support.
