The Operations team continues to grow and aims to strengthen the connection of Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) across Collins Aerospace. In this dynamic environment , you will have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide. Role Overview: is position supervises a team of support and/or production level or hourly/direct employees in Manufacturing Operations. Sets day-to-day activities and assists in managing and monitoring production operations, maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel. Primary Responsibilities: Facilitate the activities of the assigned to Mfg operations. Lead group of operators, group leaders and inspector assigned to different Mfg, areas Stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of facilitator and production employees. Initiate cross training and initial training programs that encompass all aspects of the manufacturing inspection and test functions to expand and improve coverage and personnel qualifications. Develop manpower planning and utilization programs to satisfy actual and projected requirements. Includes the scheduling of overtime and the cost effective use of temporary services. Assist cell teams in achieving and maintaining cell key metric goals. Confer with the Operations Support Manager and Production Planners to establish working schedule for all departments connected with production. Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. Recommend the hiring and releasing of production personnel as required to maintain production schedule. Assure that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production. Arrange to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained. Maintain good employee relations. Keeps records/statistics of departmental activities, as required. Full responsible for time and attendance process on a timely and efficient manner. Basic Qualifications: Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
