Material Handler
We are hiring for multiple Material Handlers to join our team. As a material handler, you will be responsible for the production process by ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies.
Key Responsibilities: Gather, weigh and blend materials. Maintain supply of raw materials to machines (raw material, colors, etc.) Grind material, label regrind, keep grinding area organized and clean. Assists in purging machines and cleaning magnets in the hopper throat. Connect vacuum system to supply material to machines. Document movement of materials and complete all required paperwork. Gather lot control information for Quality Control. Help to monitor inventory levels and advise supervision of low volumes. Check equipment (blenders, dye feeders, grinders, etc.) Unload bulk resin trailers. Keep work area clean and maintain proper housekeeping and sanitation. Maintains safety in the department. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a material handler or in a related role preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
