Job Title: MRI Technologist
Shift: FRI-SUN - 7A-7P
3X12 - Weekends
Average Daily Census: 35-40 cases/day
Patient Diagnoses: Inpatient and outpatient workload, specializing in neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging. No cardiac imaging. Scanning of all implants. Predominantly oncology cases, with stroke workup or trauma as well.
Electronic Documentation: EPIC
Years of Experience Required: 2 years
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Certifications Required:
•ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
•BLS (Basic Life Support)
•Ohio State License
Skills Required:
•Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care
•Proficiency in Abdominal, Female Pelvis, Male Pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/Soft Tissue Neck, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, and Shoulder imaging
•Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and Siemens equipment

•Fusion (non-brain)
•Gradient Echo Imaging
•Image post-processing (e.g., Apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction)
•Maximum intensity projection (MIP)
•Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
•Perfusion
•Spectroscopy
•Spin Echo Images
•Surface Coils
•T-1 Weighted Images
•T-2 Weighted Images
Spine Imaging: Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic
