Support functional and operational improvements of instrumentation and controls used within the CMC and ensure that all activities are completed safely. Perform calibrations and/or verifications of instruments and equipment to approved job plans, work instructions and/or procedures. Instruments could include: scales and balances, gauges, pressure transducers, RTD's, temperature transmitters, humidity sensors, PH probes, flow meters and flow sensors and other related instruments. Perform testing on electronic components to determine functionality level and capacity. Troubleshoot, test, repair, electronic and pneumatic components used within the BMS manufacturing operations, laboratories, and facilities. Perform modifications, improvements, and recommendations to existing systems. Use manual and powered electrical repair and diagnostic tools/ instruments skillfully. Complete all cGMP documentation associated with calibration and maintenance tasks. Plan and coordinate external calibration services. Input all work or create work orders per initial/change request/ change control/schedule/corrective/on demand events/ and/or emergency using work order management system. Ensure that all work orders are closed out appropriately and contain the required data, reports, and ensure GXP documentation. Any and all other duties and tasks assigned. Five 5 years of related Calibration experience. 2 years' experience working in a GMP environment. Skilled in use of tools and machinery required by the position. Familiar with computer equipment and programs. Capable of operating BMS(Building Maintenance System) and work order management system. Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports and/or with customer(s). Must be fluent in English & Spanish and understand and follow standard operating procedures. Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry up to 50lbs. Must be able to walk/stand for long period of time while in the field. Must be willing to travel out in the field through various climate changes and adapt while maintaining proper PPE.
