Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Paralegal for our client, a highly regarded global company located in Santa Monica, Los Angeles! This is a wonderful full-time, hybrid, contract-to-hire opportunity to join an inspiring as well as mission-driven team!
What you'll be doing:
- Conduct legal research using tools such as LexusNexus to gather relevant information for case preparation.
-Review and analyze legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal paperwork, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft, create, and assist in the preparation of various legal documents, including briefs, motions, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to manage case files and organize necessary documentation.
- Assist in preparing and organizing materials for court proceedings, hearings, and meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and organization of legal records and case files.
What you need to be successful:
-Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program preferred, or a combination of education and/or experience
-Proficiency with LexusNexus preferred
-3 years of Paralegal experience
Compensation:
This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $38-$39 an hour and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits, an employee retirement plan, and more!
