JOB SUMMARY Duties: Compile, track, and enter payroll data into the payroll system such as: hours worked, vacation, personal and holiday hours, taxes, and union dues to be withheldFollow established procedures to accurately process weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrollReview wage calculations, audit timekeeping records and correct any errors to ensure accuracy of payrollAudit new hires, terminations, retro transactions, wage garnishments and tax setup for accuracyValidate data concerning pay rate changes, address changes and direct depositProcess, review, and audit automated standard reports to verify accuracy and correct any out of balance transactions as necessaryFacilitate audit requests, prepare special reports and/or work on special projects as assigned by managementResolve payroll questions and time tracking inquires via our People Connect portal ServiceNow Skills: Experience with Workday Payroll and Time Tracking or similar systems experience preferredFundamental Payroll Professional (FPP) designation preferredAbility to draw conclusions and make independent decisions with limited informationAbility to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business communitySignificant knowledge of payroll systems, FLSA, Federal and State laws, knowledge, and administration of sound techniques in all aspects of payroll Skills: PayrollWorkdayExcelExcellent Written And Verbal Communication SkillsDetail Oriented Additional Customer Service OrientedProblem SolvingAuditServicenowTerminationsMS Word Education:
