Powder Packager

Primary Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to: Packages powder and maintains the associated paperwork without being supervised.



Essential Functions: Operate, monitor and maintain equipment and paperwork for packaging powders without being supervised. Upon completion of packing powder obtain a peer to perform count-out, and have count-out verified by peer. Bin locate material packages. Pack to order and complete packing detail to match. Assist in the order processing when needed. Receive incoming materials and outgoing orders as well as learn basics of hazardous and non- hazardous outgoing shipments. Must ensure proper use of Forklifts, scales, vacuums, hand tools, vibrators, wheel dolly, hand pallet jack, hoist, drum dolly, calculator, packaging machine, glue gun and banding machine. Complete other work duties as assigned. Will Cross Train in other positions/departments as assigned. Non-essential Functions Required and must perform various types of duties assigned by the department foreperson/leadperson. Maintain machines, equipment and work area for cleanliness and efficient operation. Must assist with minor maintenance such as painting, oiling, cleaning, and adjustments.
